Lean Six Sigma Certification Goes a Long Way for College Grads
Getting Lean Six Sigma certified can advance your career. But what about those new to the job market, like recent college graduates?
According to the experts at GoLeanSixSigma.com, earning a Green Belt goes on long way in a tough job market:
Today’s economy makes job hunting more competitive than ever. Every year, roughly 3.8 million college students graduate and begin applying for jobs. Will you stand out from the crowd and get hired?
The average job posting gets 250 applicants. Out of that pool, about 5 will get interviewed and only 1 will get hired (Glassdoor.com). That means for every job application you submit, you’ll have a 0.4% chance of getting hired.
It’s tough out there!
Although people with college degrees have lower unemployment rates and higher earning potential than those without college degrees, one of every 20 college graduates is unemployed.
